Patty Talahongva is Hopi and a multimedia, award winning journalist. She is based in Phoenix, Arizona and has worked with CBS News, NPR, Native America Calling, National Native News and ICT News. She is writing a book on the impacts of the U.S. Government boarding school policy on three generations of her family, including herself. She is a past president of the Native American Journalists Association and a current member of the Fallen Journalists Memorial Foundation advisory council. Patty's documentary work can be seen in three museums- The Penn Museum, The Heard Museum and the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian.
