I’ve dedicated my career to telling stories with purpose. As a multimedia journalist, I’ve crisscrossed the globe to investigate social inequality and migration, all with the goal of using visual storytelling to question and reshape conventional narratives. My work spans documentary, radio, and print media for such outlets as The Wall Street Journal, The Independent, Voice of America News, and NPR. I was a staff senior video journalist for The Wall Street Journal for five years. Prior to this, I worked as a foreign correspondent across South Asia and East Africa, investigating such topics as the fate of Nepal's Maoist rebel camps, stone pelters in militarized Kashmir, and FDLR combatants in the Democratic Republic of Congo. I’ve also covered social enterprise across rural India and Japan's 2011 earthquake from the disaster zone.
