The Hartford Institute for Religion Research team studies all aspects of congregational life and sponsors the Faith Communities Today 20 year project of surveying faith communities. It also runs the Exploring the Pandemic Impact on Congregations project, a multi-faceted and longitudinal research project examining the long-term consequences of COVID-19 for congregational life. Our display table includes info from all these projects as well as maps and results from the US Religion Census which is a decadal count of all congregations and adherents by county in the US.
